The GEVEY Ultra S promises to unlock both GSM and CDMA handsets, which is a fairly big deal. We've already seen a couple of SIM interposers launch for Apple's latest handset this year.

Great news today for folks with a GSM iPhone 4S who are using, or planning to use, GEVEY's Ultra S product to unlock their handset. It appears the popular SIM interposer is compatible with the new iOS 5.1.1 update. Apple released the update yesterday, equipped with a handful of bug fixes and improvements. And although its future is still a bit murky for jailbreakers, it looks like it's ok.

Sorry if a similar thread already exists. I just wanted to say that the Gevey Ultra S for iPhone 4S works as advertised and I recommend buying it. The only disappointing part is the inability to update the firmware and retain the unlock, but that was also advertised. To anyone who buys it.
